Q: When did you become involved in Xitsonga music distribution?
A: In music distribution I started in 2011, but been in the music industry a long time. Ni sunguli hi 2006 loko ni xaveriwa computer kaya, ni sunguli lembe rin’we na makhelwani wa mina, Hangalasa “Donny” Bvuma, ko va ku ni munhu loyi a ni focus’i ngopfu ka swa xikolo, that is why ninga dumangi ngopfu LOL.
Q: Why did you decide to create a platform like xikulu.com?
A: To promote Xitsonga, hence I gave it a Tsonga name & to help people who have problems using other file/music sharing platforms.
Q: How long did it take you to create the platform?
A: Only 1 day, with assistance of my colleague, Walter “Holly” Maluleke.
Q: Is it the only Tsonga platform of its kind?
A: Uhmm so far, it’s safe to say yes & the support is overwhelming from Vatsonga va ka hina, phela niggas don’t support Mutsongakuloni.
Q: Are you planning to make money from the platform?
A: For now e-e, but maybe in future, hikuva the platform is growing rapidly.
Q: Do you plan to grow the platform beyond this?
A: That is one of my dreams, and I’m glad it already has a lot of traffic coming from South Africa as a whole & the rest of the world.
